Research Interests:
Dr. Adams is Professor of Biochemistry. The overall goal of her research is to define the molecular mechanisms that regulate skeletal development. Her primary teaching responsibility is in the Biochemistry 501 course for first-year dental students, where she is course director and lectures on transcriptional control mechanisms, extracellular matrix, and cell-matrix interactions. She is also chair-elect of the University Faculty Senate.
